Centennial Room
Saskatchewan Turns 100
Colourful
paraphernalia decorates the Centennial Rooms in Moose Jaw, North Battleford
and Yorkton WDMs. Designed to celebrate Saskatchewan’s landmark 100th
birthday in 2005, each Centennial Room offers an array of souvenirs and
photographs reflecting the milestone celebration.
Saskatchewan people organized parades and fireworks, shared potluck dinners and picnic lunches, hung flags and banners, made signs and displays, planted trees and Western red lilies, created parks and gardens, and invited friends and family back to celebrate.
