WDM Curator Appointed Adjunct Professor

The WDM is honoured to announce that Curator Dr. Elizabeth A. Scott has recently been appointed Adjunct Professor in the Department of History at the University of Saskatchewan on a 5-year term. Dr. Scott’s appointment formalizes a research and teaching relationship between the WDM and the University that will serve to advance public history engagement in the province. The WDM’s recent partnership with the Department’s Assistant Professor Dr. Ashleigh Androsoff and Spirit Wrestler Productions on the Doukhobor Living Book Project soundscape and exhibit is the first of what the WDM hopes will be many future collaborations through this appointment. Dr. Scott will also be involved in teaching and supervising undergraduate and graduate History students with similar research interests, including Saskatchewan History, Public History, Reconciliation and Inclusion.

  • Hi I am a high school student who has applied for a history degree at the U of S, and I’m looking to get in touch with someone with a career in history to ask a few questions about what they do. If you could help me to get in touch with someone so I can ask them a few questions that would be awesome. Thank you for your time!

    • Hello Olivia,

Thank you for your inquiry and congratulations on choosing a degree in history as part of your career path!
Please contact our Curator, Dr. Elizabeth Scott at 306-934-1400 or escott@wdm.ca and she would be more than happy to answer your questions.
