Synergy - Co-operation in Saskatchewan

Program Information

Students will learn about early co-operation in Saskatchewan, what an organised co-operatives is, and what co-operative action means. Particular attention will be paid to the co-operative movement in Saskatchewan. The in-museum Discovery Box program will highlight the many ways Saskatchewan's people have demonstrated their co-operative spirit. In-classroom lesson plans focus on co-operatives in times of crisis and the spirit of co-operation at work in their families, in their school, and in their communities.

In-Museum Discovery Box Program

CooperationThis teacher-led Discovery Box will highlight the
many ways that Saskatchewan’s people have
demonstrated their co-operative spirit. It contains artifacts related to co-operative history, including twine, a milk bottle, photographs, stock certificates, and maps.This teacher-led Discovery Box contains artifacts related to transportation history, including a model Red River Cart, horse shoe, maps, and a railway date nail.

Cost: In-museum Discovery Box programs are
$3.00 / student. Pre-booking is required.

Location: This program is available at all WDM locations.
