    Julia Wagner

    Museum Operations Manager

Julia joined the WDM Saskatoon team in December 2022. After working in Alberta and British Columbia with post-secondary students and Métis government, she brings her experience in program management, strategic planning, organizational development, risk management, and leadership to the organization. Her educational background in Anthropology and Archaeology (BA’16, University of Saskatchewan) and Conflict Analysis and Management (MA’22, Royal Roads University) have given her a respect for both the historical content and day-to-day operations of the Museum.  She is committed to the safety, accessibility, and fun for everyone who visits, volunteers, and works at the WDM Saskatoon.

Julia’s own history is rooted in the province where she grew up- having lived in both rural and urban communities.  She feels privileged to be back in Saskatchewan and working for an organization committed to Reconciliation while preserving and sharing the province’s histories; ensuring everyone can see themself reflected in the stories we tell.
