Kelsie Stettner
Board MemberKelsie Stettner works at The Mosaic Company as a sourcing specialist focusing on strategic sourcing projects, capital projects, and collaborating with the Indigenous engagement team. Since beginning her work at Mosaic as an Indigenous summer student, Kelsie has successfully created a robust Indigenous business directory and various communication channels within the company and with various Indigenous businesses.
Kelsie graduated from the University of Regina in 2018 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (with Distinction) and certificate in Economics. Her dedication and academic achievement earned the Teal Lowery Scholarship and a member of the Deans List.
Supporting her community through volunteerism continues to be a priority for Kelsie. While attending university, she volunteered with Big Sisters of Regina while continuing her mentorship with youth at Mother Teresa Middle School as a classroom assistant and mentee. Additionally, Kelsie participated in JDC West, an academic case competition, where she competed and volunteered over 90 hours for various Regina charities. She continued her involvement with JDC West after University as the Director of Corporate relations in 2020 and a coach in 2021. The Director of Corporate relations was one of her biggest achievements for the competition as she helped host over 650 students, 1,100 attendees and raised over $330,000 for the competition.
Kelsie’s husband refers to her as a busy body – one who cannot sit down. You will either find her chasing around her Dachshund Jäger, playing her cello, working in the garden, or on another household project.
Kelsie is enthusiastic to use her skills and characteristics as a Board Member for the WDM. Kelsie was appointed a Director in 2021.
