Kerry LubchenkoDirector of Marketing
Kerry’s earliest memory of the Museum was watching a steam traction tractor at Pion-Era whistle, puff and chug its way up a show ramp. But it was climbing aboard a steam train engine on a grade four school trip to the outdoor village at the WDM North Battleford that sealed the deal.
“I was captivated by all these iron ‘dragons’ at the WDM. Who knew I would one day work where many of these incredible machines that changed prairie life forever reside – or that I would get to fire up and operate several of them myself.”
Kerry became part of the WDM management team some 30 years after the grade four class trip. In between he went to the University of Saskatchewan, learned to play a mean guitar, worked in advertising and agriculture, and has recently joined the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Western Canadian Blacksmith Guild.
