Kristine FlynnVolunteer and Programs Administration
Kristine’s museum career started at the Morse Museum and Cultural Centre and she has been hooked on museums ever since. She joined the WDM in 2008.
From the WDM Corporate Office, Kristine supports and collaborates with programming staff to create and deliver creative education programs that build historical awareness, unveil crucial context behind contemporary issues, and develop participants’ critical thinking skills. She also manages and supports the work of the volunteers who generously give their time at the Corporate Office.
Kristine has worked with the Museums Association of Saskatchewan on curriculum updates for the Museums and Education course and the creation of an Education and Interpretation Self-Assessment Workbook (2019).
Kristine holds a BA (Hons.) in History and Political Studies from the University of Saskatchewan, certificates in public programming, and is a Certified Volunteer Administrator. She is also proud to be a 2019 Leadership Saskatoon alumna.
