    Orlanda Drebit

    Board Chair

    Orlanda Drebit was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She recently returned to the province after spending over 30 years in Canada’s smallest province, PEI.

    The majority of her career has been spent in senior executive positions in the Federal Public Service at the Department of Veterans Affairs national headquarters located in Charlottetown. She has strong leadership skills and proven experience in implementing results-oriented and innovative changes at both the strategic and operational levels. She has developed many partnerships and leveraged these networks to implement change processes.

    Her executive experience includes management in the areas of audit and evaluation, health administration, policy development, project management, and national social/health care delivery. These assignments have involved public/private partnerships and partnering with other federal departments. She has extensive experience in providing strategic advice to the most senior executive level. She also has significant experience in managing financial and human resources. This experience includes executive management of multi-million-dollar programs and operating budgets.

    Orlanda is a leader that “walks the talk” of values and ethics. She is known to be an extremely engaging leader. She has also received several awards for management excellence and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, and is fluently bi-lingual in French.

    Orlanda enjoys gardening, cats, cooking and travelling.
