    Tim Pomeroy

    Chief Engineer and Restoration Manager

Tim joined the WDM in 2016. Originally from southern Ontario, he has a skilled trades background as a Tool and Die Maker, and worked in the automotive manufacturing and nuclear industry for over 25 years. He worked for Canadian Pacific for 10 years as a qualified Locomotive Engineer.

Growing up around traction engines and Model T Fords, Tim’s interest in trains, steam and cars came at a very early age. In his spare time, Tim enjoys building miniature locomotives and tries to find time to work on and drive his ’56 Mercury pickup truck. He has a great passion for antique machinery of any kind and enjoys all aspects of operating and restoring them.
