Pop in and Play with the WDM

Have your child connect with the WDM and our hands-on artifacts in a fun and interactive way. Activities are designed for ages 3 – 6. Pop into the Education room to enjoy the play kitchen, school desks and slate boards,  and a different activity every month. Free with Museum admission.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
