Pop In and Play With the WDM

Join us in the Education Room for a very special edition of Pop in and Play with the WDM about Black History and Culture in Saskatchewan. This program was created in partnership between the WDM, the Saskatchewan African Canadian Heritage Museum, CBC’s Black on the Prairies project and Black Lives Matter YXE. Activities are designed for ages 3 – 6 with visitors of all ages welcome. Free with Museum admission.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
