Our province is home to many famous firsts and exciting ways to do things.

Pick up a seek and find activity sheet on the table just before the glass doors. Explore the galleries for the images of nine innovations found in the illustrations by artist Ward Schell. After you’re done, put it in the seek and find box on the table to be entered to win a prize.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
