The WDM is proud to partner with the Filipino-Canadian Association of Saskatchewan Inc. (FILCAS) to showcase Filipino-Canadian heritage and history in the Museum. Visitors can learn about the history of the Filipino-Canadian community in Saskatchewan through artifacts and stories on exhibit curated by community members who arrived in Saskatchewan from the 1960s onwards.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
