Colours of the Saskatchewan Flag Seek and Find

August 1, 2023 - August 31, 2023, - | Moose Jaw

In 1969, the green and yellow flag was made the first official flag of Saskatchewan. The design was selected from over 4,000 contest entries. The green represents the forests of the north while the yellow stands for the golden grain fields of the south. Saskatchewan’s floral emblem, the western red lily, and the province’s shield of arms are also featured.

Explore the galleries for the yellow and green (and orange) artifacts found in the photos on the activity page, available in the lobby. Then, fill in the spaces provided on the back of the sheet to identify the name of each artifact. Put your completed sheet into the drop box to be entered to win a prize.

Included with Museum admission. FREE for WDM members.
