Hiding in Plain Sight: Discovering the Métis Nation in the Archival Records of Library and Archives Canada Travelling Exhibit

August 5, 2020 - December 6, 2020, 11:00 am - 5:00 pm | Moose Jaw

This travelling exhibit was developed by Library and Archives Canada in collaboration with the Manitoba Metis Federation and the Métis National Council, with the support of the Government of Canada. It explores the portrayal of Métis Citizens—some of whom are “hiding in plain sight”—in art and photographic collections and the accompanying descriptions and aims to foster a better understanding of the history and the culture of the Métis Nation.

11:00 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday to Sunday. On weekdays, the first hour of the day (11:00 am – 12:00 pm Wednesday through Friday) will be reserved for senior citizens and anyone more vulnerable to the coronavirus.
