Michif Word Seek and Find

February 1, 2024 - February 29, 2024, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm | Moose Jaw

Michif is a Métis language that is about 80% French and 20% Cree. There are only 24 letters in the Michif alphabet, there is no X or Q.

Pick up a seek and find activity sheet on the table just before the glass doors. Find the artifacts pictured and write out the Michif translation. After you’re done, put it in the seek and find box on the table to be entered to win a prize.

The WDM partnered with New Southern Plains Metis Local 160, Michif Linguist Al Chaisson to develop this Seek & Find activity

Free with Museum admission. WDM members are free.
