Ration Cake Seek and Find

Canadians had to ration their food (which means using less of it) during the First and Second World Wars so that more food could be sent to the troops who were fighting overseas. People were creative and tried to use different things to make their baking taste good, even if they couldn’t use their regular ingredients because of the rationing.
Pick up your activity sheet at the front desk and explore the Museum galleries to find 11 photos of items that were part of a recipe for a wartime rations cake.
