Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Seek and Find

September 1, 2024 - September 30, 2024, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm | Moose Jaw

This year marks the 100-year anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. We wanted to commemorate this important date by highlighting the role that the RCAF played in Canadian history, particularly in regard to the Second World War.

The WDM  Moose Jaw aircraft gallery is set up in a similar way to a British Commonwealth Air Training Plan base which were used to train pilots for the Second World War effort. A couple of design aspects that easily distinguish these bases were the dark green shingle-clad buildings and the bright yellow training aircraft used by the RCAF as part of the BCATP. Explore the Galleries to find out the names of different aircraft used by the RCAF.
