120 years ago the Doukhobors became one of the first settler groups in Saskatchewan, when over 7,500 first settled here in 1899 after fleeing religious persecution in Russia. The “Saskatchewan Doukhobor Living Book Project” is a collaboration between Spirit Wrestler Productions (Ryan Androsoff), the University of Saskatchewan, and the Western Development Museum to explore the history and evolution of the Doukhobor community in Saskatchewan.
