Spot the Gopher Seek and Find

You may know them as gophers, but their real name is Richardson’s Ground Squirrel. They were named for Sir John Richardson, who documented them as he explored the Saskatchewan River 200 years ago. Depending on where you live, they may be called gophers, flickertail or picket-pin. In Saskatchewan, we usually call them gophers.
Mischievous gophers are loose in the Museum, and we need your help to find them all. There are 10 gophers in total. Pick up an activity sheet and write down each place in the galleries where you find a gopher. After you’re done, bring it to the front for a fun prize.
