Kanaweyimik Child & Family Services Indigenous Teachings

In partnership with Kanaweyimik Child & Family Services, a temporary collection of traditional tipis are on display on the south lawn of the WDM North Battleford for the summer of 2022. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of teachings in August.

Teachings are free with Museum admission.

August 1 – 2 Traditional games 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
August 9 Tipi teachings
August 16 – 18 Chokecherry picking and crushing 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
August 16 – 18 Bannock making 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
August 16 – 17 Mossbag teachings 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
August 16 – 17 Local history 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
