Yellow and Green Seek & Find

August 1, 2024 - August 31, 2024, - | Moose Jaw

In 1969, the green and yellow flag was made the first official flag of Saskatchewan. The design was selected from over 4,000 contest entries. The green represents the forests of the north while the yellow stands for the golden grain fields of the south. Saskatchewan’s floral emblem, the western red lily, and the province’s shield of arms are also featured. Each year on the first Monday of August Saskatchewan Day is celebrated.

Explore the Museum Galleries to find the yellow and green artifacts.
