Memoir Writing Class – WDM Saskatoon

Book with handwritten papers, perhaps memoir drafts, strewn below it on table

with Facilitator Glorie Tebbutt

“From Table to Page: Writing Down Those Important Stories”.

Most of us have stories and/or life experiences that we would like to record, either for ourselves or for family members and friends. As well, some of you may be writing fiction. If you have something you want to write or write about, then consider joining this writing class beginning in January.

The eight sessions will be conducted as workshops where you will have an opportunity to read your work aloud to other members in the group and hear their feedback/suggestions. No writing experience is necessary, and the facilitator, Glorie Tebbutt, will help members of the group learn what constitutes helpful feedback and how to give such feedback. The class will be capped at 12 participants, with the potential of another class if there is sufficient interest.

January 14 – April 28, 2020

The class will begin on Tuesday, January 14, and we will meet every two weeks thereafter.

$171.00 for WDM Members
$190.00 for non-members

Cancellation one week prior to the first class will result in a full refund. Cancellation later than one week prior will result in a 50% refund.
