The WDM is excited to help promote the fourth annual Central Urban Métis Federation Inc. (CUMFI) Métis Cultural Days to celebrate Métis culture, language, and identity. Métis Cultural Days is September 9-12, with September 10 as their virtual day for schools. They will be sharing with schools across Saskatchewan free online entertainment, Michif lessons, contests and more! This year’s theme is “Year of the Elder”.

There are also five contests planned ahead of September 10. Each contest includes a prize package and targets a variety of grade ranges.
