Museum galleries and gift shops are open Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm. On weekdays, the first hour of the day (11:00 am – 12:00 pm Wednesday to Friday) is reserved for senior citizens and anyone more vulnerable to the coronavirus. The Boomtown Cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Museum Closed on New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
Museum Closed at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve.

Group rates can be offered to groups of 10 or more who pre-book a visit to the Western Development Museum. These rates will only be honoured for groups that pre-book a minimum of one day in advance.
