The Western Development Museum is proud to be part of the communities we serve. Across our four locations, partnerships and community support make it possible to share Saskatchewan’s stories in new and meaningful ways.
Through collaboration with local organizations, municipalities, and tourism partners, we’re able to make the Museum more accessible, affordable, and inclusive for everyone. These partnerships help us extend our reach, welcome new audiences, and ensure the WDM continues to reflect the diverse people and histories that make Saskatchewan unique.
The WDM is proud to partner with the City of Saskatoon’s Leisure Access Program to make museum experiences accessible to more people in our community.
Through this program, eligible residents can enjoy free admission to the WDM Saskatoon, ensuring that cost is not a barrier to connecting with our shared history.

We are pleased to work with the Saskatoon Public Library to offer free family passes through their Discovery Pass program.
Library patrons can borrow a pass just like a book and enjoy a day exploring the WDM’s galleries and exhibits — a fun, educational outing for families, completely free of charge.

Through our partnership with Discover Saskatoon, visitors can enjoy 15% off a Family Admission when they use the Family Fun Pass.
The WDM Saskatoon is proud to be part of this citywide initiative that encourages residents and visitors to explore local attractions, celebrate Saskatchewan culture, and experience all that Saskatoon has to offer.

The WDM is honoured to participate in the national Canoo program, which offers free admission to new Canadian citizens and permanent residents during their first year of citizenship.
This partnership reflects our commitment to inclusion and to sharing Saskatchewan’s stories with everyone who now calls this province home.

Guests staying at Dakota Dunes Resort can now add a visit to the WDM as part of their stay! Through our partnership, the resort offers discounted WDM admission add-ons that can be purchased directly when booking a room.
This collaboration connects tourism, culture, and community — inviting visitors to discover the best of Saskatchewan’s hospitality and history in one seamless experience.
