Built in ’76: A Groovy Night at the Museum

We’re turning 50 this year — and it’s time to celebrate!

Step back into the 1970s for Built in ’76: A Groovy Night at the Museum, a special after-hours celebration marking 50 years since the WDM Moose Jaw first opened its doors in 1976.

The doors open at 6:00 pm, so come early and explore the Museum after hours while enjoying 1970s-inspired displays, vintage fashion, retro selfie spots and hands-on fun. Visit the grazing table, grab a drink from the bar and try your luck in the silent auction and 50/50.

Then, at approximately 7:00 pm, the party moves to Sask Hall as The UnCoolas Hit Revue take the stage for two sets of live 1960s and 1970s favourites. Hit the dance floor, visit with friends and help us celebrate five decades of memories at the WDM Moose Jaw.

And don't forget to dress the part! Guests are encouraged to break out their bell-bottoms, platforms, polyester and other groovy 1970s-inspired attire for our costume contest, with prizes for the best looks.

Your ticket includes the evening's live entertainment, after-hours Museum experience, activities and grazing-style food. Bar service will be available.
