Step back into 1976 for an unforgettable evening celebrating 50 years of the WDM Moose Jaw!
Built in ’76: A Groovy Night at the Museum takes place Saturday, June 27, 2026 and transforms the Museum into a nostalgic after-hours experience filled with live music, dancing, gallery exploration and retro fun.
Doors open at 5:30 pm, giving guests time to explore the galleries, enjoy 1970s-inspired selfie spots, vintage fashion displays, hands-on activities, a themed Seek & Find, silent auction and 50/50 raffle. A grazing-style food table and bar service will be available throughout the evening.
At 7:00 pm, the celebration moves into Sask Hall as The Uncoolas perform two lively sets of classic 1960s and 1970s hits. Guests are encouraged to dance, socialize and even dress the part - a Best 1970s Costume Contest will add to the fun!
This milestone celebration is designed to feel festive, relaxed and full of community spirit - a chance to experience the Museum in a whole new way while celebrating five decades of memories, music and connection.
