Feel the charm of a traditional Christmas celebration with heritage-inspired crafts, carols, Santa’s Workshop, Kids’ Market, photo booth, bonfire, and Light Up the Village rides (weather permitting).

This year, we’ve added more traditional elements — especially traditional holiday baking. WDM staff will be preparing 10 different kinds of cookies, and families can create their own tray to take home at an affordable price.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
