Sheepskin Slippers

January 17 & 24

Create simple sheepskin slippers with sheeling lining. The technique used is the traditional European turnshoe method, a style dating back to medieval Europe. These shoes require no special tools and can be completed quickly. The added wool lining makes them cozy for cold winter days.

Messenger Bag

March 21 & 28

Craft a simple 10" x 12" leather messenger bag, inspired by the classic school bags found within the WDM galleries. This is a timeless style that remains practical for carrying modern tablets or laptops. You will have the option of adding a creative touch while learning skills with straps and fasteners.
