This is a THREE DAY workshop for Youth ages 12-16.

Youth will be introduced to the basics of leathercrafting while creating a custom tablet/laptop sleeve. Each project will be sized to the crafters personal device. This beginner level project will have crafters using a variety of tools to practice skills in embossing/carving, dye, and stitching.

Each project will include a handle and pocket for charging cable.

This workshop involves the use of sharp tools, requires sustained focus and physical effort. We cannot accept crafters younger than 12 years of age.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.
