While the days are getting longer again, having indoor sources of light are very important. From candles and lanterns to lamps there are many ways to light up a room. Explore the galleries and find these eight different sources of light. Write down where you find each artifact. Bring your filled-in sheet to the lobby for a fun prize!

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
