Christmas magic returns to the WDM North Battleford! Take a cozy drive through the beautifully lit Heritage Farm & Village and soak in the glow of thousands of twinkling lights. Feel the wonder and joy of the holiday spirit as Christmas comes alive in a dazzling winter scene.

Entry gate closes as 9:30 pm each night.

Light Up the Village is closed December 25 & 26, 2026.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
