Whether it's family heirlooms in the China cabinet or silverware for an upcoming dinner party, you likely want to keep things sparkling. However, polishing these precious objects can be intimidating. At this workshop, the Collections Care Specialist will provide professional advice, hands-on guidance, and the know-how to give your silver museum-quality care.

Bringing your own silver to polish is welcome but not required. Silverware will be provided for the workshop.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
