Compare buildings made today and from the past on their energy efficiency and learn about recent trends and new innovations. Explore program workstations featuring a variety of information including tips to make your home more comfortable and the latest trends in energy-efficient buildings that are taking place right here in Saskatchewan. Join us for a public open house showcasing the Smarter Science Better Buildings program, a partner program between the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and the WDM, sponsored in part by SaskEnergy and SaskPower.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
