Whether you go by foot or by vehicle there are many ways to travel in Saskatchewan. Throughout the galleries you will find many different modes of transportation used by people in Saskatchewan over the years.

Pick up a seek and find activity sheet at Visitor Services. Explore the Museum to find these 8 travel and transportation themed items and write down where you found them. Once completed, return to Visitor Services for a small prize.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
