Learn traditional crafting skills through these hands-on workshops, suitable for ages 13 - 17. Each workshop combines historical context with practical instruction to complete a finished item. No previous experience is needed - just bring your curiosity and creativity. By the end of each workshop you will have a beautifully crafted item to keep or gift.

Learn embossing and stitching techniques to craft a folded wallet in this three-day workshop.

Drawstring Pouch

April 8, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

This one-day workshop will teach students to make a classic drawstring pouch. In the past, children used these bags to hold small objects such as coins, jacks or marbles. Today, they are a popular choice for tabletop gamers.

Tablet/Notebook Sleeve

August 18 - 20, 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Create a 10” x 12” tablet/notebook sleeve in this three-day workshop. Emboss a custom design and add artistic flair with dye and embellishments.
