Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life

Lii Buflo: A Métis Way of Life is on view at the WDM North Battleford from June 15 – September 30, 2026. This travelling exhibit that showcases the historic ties and spiritual bond between the Métis people and the bison, as well as the bison conservation efforts of Elk Island National Park.

This exhibition is from Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert, Elk Island National Park and members of the Métis community. It’s presented in English, French and Michif.

Entry is included with Museum admission. WDM members enter free!

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.
