Adopt-A-Bench Program

You can support the WDM by adopting a bench at one or more WDM locations.

For each gift of $3,500 you will have a plaque with your name, or the name of someone special to you, affixed to a bench at the WDM location of your choice for 10 years. You will also receive a charitable tax receipt (Charitable Registration# 119293215 RR0001) and you will be recognized on the donor walls at all WDM locations.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
