WDM events like our once-in-a-lifetime 75th Anniversary Celebrations at all four WDMs and our annual Halloween Hurrah at the WDM Moose Jaw wouldn’t be the same without volunteers like Aaron making sure everything looks spectacular or volunteers like Lydia bringing their their ‘spooky spirits’ to the witch ring toss.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
