WDM events like the Boo Town Ball at the WDM Saskatoon are legendary in their communities because of committed volunteers like Charlotte, Kerry, and Scott. Volunteers help decorate the Museum, hand-out candy and treats, act in our famous ‘Museum Mystery’ – and then help un-decorate in the days after Halloween. They also come dressed in fabulous costumes!

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.

The WDM’s facilities are situated in Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis. The provincial boundaries for Saskatchewan also include Treaty 2, Treaty 5, Treaty 8 and Treaty 10 territories. Please visit WDM Reconciliation for more information.
