If you had to wash all of your clothes by hand using a scrub board, how would it change your daily life? Volunteers lead hands-on activities like this one to help kids understand what it took to do this chore before running water and electricity.

The Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the Treaties to the present day.
