Behind the scenes of Wapaha Sk̄a Oyate: Living our Culture, Sharing our Community at Pion-Era, 1955-1969 Part 3: Exhibit Panel Installation

We’re offering some behind-the-scenes videos of the building of the new exhibit at the WDM Saskatoon, co-curated with Whitecap Dakota First Nation, Wapaha Sk̄a Oyate: Living our Culture, Sharing our Community at Pion-Era, 1955-1969.

Our third and final timelapse video shows the process of installing the vinyl signage and photos in the exhibit space at the WDM Saskatoon. This video highlights the precision necessary to ensure everything is applied evenly.

  • These videos and the commentary were very interesting – so much careful research and work behind the scenes that we don’t really give much thought to. I will be more mindful – and grateful – as I view the exhibits! Thank you for your dedication to portraying our history.
