For September’s #MemoryMondays, we’re sharing photos from the WDM’s Beaumont photo collection. Warrant Officer Frank Beaumont was stationed in Moose Jaw as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP) from 1941-45. His wife Phyllis and their two sons Michael and Terry joined him in Canada for three years before returning to the UK following the end of the war. The photo collection documents the Beaumont family’s time in Moose Jaw, providing a glimpse into everyday life in Saskatchewan during the war for both civilians and military personnel.
