Admission FAQs

Field Trips for School Groups

We offer numerous education programs for school groups. Visit our Curriculum Programs to see what we offer and for information on bringing in your school group.

Discounted Rates for Large Groups (10+)

Large Group Discount – regular rate less $0.50

  • Group rate discount applied to individual single day admission rates for each guest entering
  • Groups consist of 10 or more paid admissions entering together at the same time
  • Group rates discounts cannot be applied to the family rate or any other discounts or memberships
  • Groups rates do not apply to membership admissions, and members should not be included in the group head count
  • Chaperone ratios of 1 adult/senior to 5 children must be maintained for all groups, schools and families while in the Museum. Applies to paid and unpaid chaperones.
  • Home schools, preschool, elementary and high school groups receive special school pricing when booking in advance.

Guests Requiring Support Aids

Guests with a disability requiring assistance will pay the regular admission fee, and their support aid will receive complimentary access to the Museum.

Complimentary Passes

Complimentary passes must be presented at the time of entry to receive no-charge admission. Passes will not be extended beyond their expiry date. Photos of passes cannot be used for admission. Complimentary Family passes cannot be applied to more persons than is allowable on a Family admission. Complimentary passes have no cash value. Complimentary admission passes are only for Museum entry during regular hours and do not include special events or private access.

Service Animals

The WDM supports the inclusion of service animals and is committed to accommodating their attendance in accordance with accessibility requirements. Staff may inquire about the specific tasks the service animal is trained to perform, as permitted by law, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
